America’s Wall of Honor and the America 250 Tour

On June 5, 2025, around forty guests attended a sneak preview of “America’s Wall of Honor,” a patriotic display set to tour all 50 states next year as part of America’s 250th birthday celebration.
The Wall is a large-scale artistic installation designed by Tim Lampros, an artist who relocated from Los Angeles to Omaha in 2019 to focus on this project. The display honors police, firefighters, and military veterans. It features an accompanying 45-minute slideshow set to music, with emblems for each branch of the military, police, and firefighters, as well as a presidential seal illuminated with neon trim and a spotlight during each segment. The Wall measures 59 feet wide and 10 feet tall and was constructed over five years. It is primarily made of steel, with the seals on polymer glass. The prominent presidential seal at the center contains 607 stainless steel pieces and weighs 1,200 pounds.
Lampros emphasized the Wall’s immersive design, explaining, “If you stand in front of it 12 feet, you aren’t looking at the wall. You’re in the wall, because it wraps around your peripheral vision, so it swallows you up.”
The event featured special guests, including Jerry and Lela McNinch. Jerry, a former Special Forces member and current DHS representative for the Fusion Center, was recognized for his work with the Special Forces Regiment Motorcycle Club, which supports Gold Star children.
Another guest, Donica Hudson, author of Pray America Great, shared her vision for integrating the Wall’s message into educational efforts. Hudson, who traveled from North Carolina, discussed her book’s focus on constitutional prayer and American history, stating, “This is a marriage of missions for me because my book is about constitutional prayer in the history of our country and how to pray. And it’s been taken out of the history books.”
The Wall has already traveled to states including Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Arizona, and Nebraska. Next year, it will be a centerpiece of the America 250 Tour, a White House-endorsed initiative to visit all 50 states in 50 weeks to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Lampros outlined the tour’s educational goals, particularly for young people: “We’re going to have lessons for kids, schools to come and learn about each one of the entities here. And about the 13 colonies and about the Revolutionary War and about the significant parts of American history that we don’t think that they’ve gotten much of over the last few years.” He also mentioned plans to develop a curriculum with Hudson’s input to teach children about American history and values.
Attendees, including a mix of adults and youth, provided feedback after the presentation. One guest described the experience as “powerful,” while another noted, “It tugged at my heartstrings. I almost cried.” Hudson emphasized the importance of educating younger generations, stating, “If we really want to save America, it’s great that adults understand this, but we need to teach the generations to come.”
Lampros encouraged attendees to follow the tour’s progress at america250tour.com and support the initiative through prayers and donations.
